%20 Cooler! (Plus, a ton of great news!)

Lookit my late birthday present! My keys are now %40 cooler with a seatbelt buckle keychain, with a McDonald’s Rainbow Dash dangling on it! Plus, this is also a test on the features for posting with a smartphone! Now I can do live posts for everypony! So awesome! The possibilities are “Like endless!”
Also, on a side note, you may or may not have noticed that we’ve finally earned ourselves our first A-filly-ate! I’m quite proud to be associated with the Rainbow Dash Network! The website flows nicely, works very efficiently, and of course, it’s Rainbow Dash themed, making it WAY more than %20 cooler than Twitter! (I’m keeping my hooves crossed for an Android app that I can use for even QUICKER posting and receiving! That’d be so awesome!
Next, we’ve also finally set up a Steam Community for those gamer ponies who want to show that Equestria Inspires them! The new little social icon sits at the top of our page here, right beneath our most gorgeous banner, so be sure to click and join up! Also, don’t forget to be a good pony, and share with the community all of those super-awesome pony-mods you use in the games you play, so that we all can ponify our wonder gaming experiences, and make them just that much more enjoyable!
Last, but most certainly not least, we’ve got plenty more news from Midwestria! We’ve got a call-out for everypony to start filling up those forums of theirs, on their site here and start telling the staffers (myself included!) exactly what you want to see at the con! We’ve already got SO much planned, between the Iron Pony competition, our own Grand Galloping Gala, a huge dance hall for dances, an all con long photography group excited to do photo shoots for any and everypony that wants, special guests (whom I’m not quuuuiiiiite allowed to announce just yet, so keep posted here!), to plenty of pony panels, and even an Equestria Inspired-sponsored social event! There’s going to be plenty to do, and it’s going to be wonderful!
“What can I do? What should I do?”, you may be asking yourselves… Well let me help! We have our forum so that everypony can not only talk with eachother about the various aspects of the con, but also to -us-, the staffers! With all the stuff we’ve got planned so far, that doesn’t even fill up all of the convention space we’ve got at our disposal! Do you have ideas for a panel you’d like to host? Do you want to see a particular discussion or “How To” panel run? Do you have a room, and are looking for roommates? The possibilities are endless!
Personally, I need everypony to get onto their forum, go here and let us know that you all want gaming rooms! I cannot imagine a convention where friends can’t sit down and play some awesome tabletop games, and maybe a separate room for some Rockband and Super Smash Brothers gaming! Read my post there, and you’ll see that if we get the rooms, I should be able to personally run some AMAZING MLP tabletop games I’ve converted other gaming systems (Like TOON! and GURPS) to fit the My Little Pony world and ideals! These awesome adventures can’t be had, if ponies don’t rally with me, and convince my fellow staffers that a gaming room is simply a necessity at ANY con one goes to, especially one with lots of fellow gamer ponies!
Phew, this week has been so very busy! I don’t know how I can keep up! We’re also sorry about not getting the last couple of live broadcasts edited and posted up here and on YouTube for everypony to listen in, whomever missed it when it was live ^-^;;; We’ll get to it! I just never knew how tedious sound editing was x.x I do not envy those who do it professionally!

Check out these lovely ladies! Are these not just the bees’ knees? Guess who’s the owner of that super-awesome Rainbow Dash on the left! *Squeezes her tightly with a Fluttershy squeak-smile* My bed just became %20 cooler! These adorable plushies are simply TOO awesome to pass up! You can even get them with little sound-clips in them, so when you hug various places, they can say things! /)°3°( Everypony honestly needs at least ONE plushie of their favorite pony! Mine has 2 phrases in it “It needs to be about %20 cooler” and of course, her rolling-on-the-ground laughing at Twilight’s poofed-out mane, from the very first episode ^-^ I <3 it so much!!

Tonight’s Show!

That’s right! Once again, it is time for our monthly broadcast! Same pony-time, same pony place 6 pm, Central Time! This go ’round, we’ve got a special guest speaker “Tech Tonic”, the lucky colt who managed to win the raffle at FCN last month! We’ll start of with a little interview of him and what ponies have done for his life. Also with him, we’ll be discussing many things, like just how amazing the season 2 closer was, along with various comparisons and contrasts between the two seasons. We cannot forget what is also now on everypony’s mind “Just how can season 3 compare to the closer of season 2?” On top of our usual shenanigans, we will also be keeping an eye in the IRC channel #EquestriaInspired that you can check in on during the show either using your own clients, or right on our website, in the Amphitheater! There, we will be doing the occassional shout-out, because we can’t get enough of giving everypony a chance for a little bit of time in the limelight!
As always, all the while, we’ll have our lines open on Skype during music breaks, ready to take call-ins for those ponies who have something to say about any of the topics of today’s broadcast, or maybe even something covered in previous shows! If YOU would like your moment in the limelight, then TUNE IN, and call the Skype call-screener name given during the broadcast!

We’re sorry, but we’ll have to come back in a day or two once our illustrious leader has stopped running about and foaming at the mouth whilst he rants and raves about how epic the Season 2 closer episodes were! We’re also quite sure that he’ll be back soon enough to tell you all about the May 3rd live broadcast that he’s got planned for everypony, but until then, please pardon the lack of charismatic filler-chatter and whatnot!

The convention was a blast! We had a TON of fun there amidst the plethora of bronies there! We were even granted the second-largest presentation space in the entire convention for the panel! It was nothing short of magical!
I finally had a chance to playtest my My Little Pony conversion of the TOON system tabletop RPG, and amazingly-enough, despite the fact that not a single game was posted onto the convention schedule, all 5 games (2 Friday, 2 Saturday, and 1 Sunday evening) all had a full house! I had made character sheets for the Mane 6, along with Spike and Derpy, and we all had an absolute blast! It was so much fun, seeing them go through various adventures and solving problems with various people, and seeing how everyone personally portrays their characters! So many adventures were to be had: Trixie had returned to Ponyville, this time with an actual great amount of power… Snips and Snails went missing… A mysterious fog began pouring out from the Everfree Forest… The last game even ended on a worrysome note: Celestia warns the Mane 6 that her previous worries have been confirmed. The other Draconequii that were previously banished into stone by the Princesses and their companions are all now breaking free, not only due to shift of ownership of the Elements of Harmony, but also it seems as though Discord was only defeated by the Elements of Harmony without a fight, because he had set up a contingency plan to release all the others upon his demise! It seems as though the future of Equestria holds great trials for our friends!
Aside from the tabletop gaming mischief and adventures, the panel I was honored to run myself was a ton of fun! Despite the fact that the sound system lent to us by the convention was quite unsavory, we managed to get the main section of the panel taken care of! Polls on who this con’s favorite pony, secondary character, nemesis, and song were all tallied, along with a deep discussion on how MLP has pulled us in, what appeals to us, as adults, and much more! As it turned out, there weren’t any panels or anything for the rest of the day in the room we were granted, so we took advantage! Although it was very unlucky for us to have a more-or-less failed sound system for the main part of the panel (the Stompin’ Sing-Along is always a huge success! Better luck next time!) We eventually got somepony who could fiddle around with some chords and settings and managed to get a semi-decent sound-quality out of our set-up, and after the main panel’s discussion and raffle was finished, and most ponies took their leave to enjoy the last few hours of the convention, we rocked out all sorts of funny video clips, music videos, and even showed a ton of episodes! Despite the fact that the second half of the panel was a bit of a flop, myself and a hoof-full of other bronies lived it up to the very end, with the total panel’s run-time being seven and a half hours long: our longest panel yet!
I have no idea if I ever plan on officially running another panel THAT long, but I must admit, the unofficial few hours at the end where we all shared our favorite fan-vids and the such was SO much fun! There is SO much fan-made material out there that no matter how much time we spend looking, there’ll be things we haven’t seen, and it was wonderful, being shown more artists and musicians that have done such wonderful work! It all serves as a continual reminder that this fandom is such an amazing thing, swirling around with creativity and sharing… It truly is nothing short of inspirational!
Between the games (Which have gotten me QUITE excited about the future of pony gaming, seeing as I’m getting quite close to a playtest stage with my “Forest Kingdoms of Inspireland” MLP conversion of the GURPS system!) and the overwhelming participation at the panel, despite it’s set-backs, the weekend was full of fun, laughter, and great amounts of friendship! I’ve made some wonderful new friends while I was there, and I can very happily say that Equestria Inspired will most DEFINITELY be heading back there next year!

Furry Connection North
It’s that time once again, where Equestria Inspired goes out to into the world to meet everypony else! We are headed to Novi, Michigan for the anthropomorphic convention Furry Connection North, and we’re so very excited to be running the My Little Pony Meet & Greet panel there over the course of the weekend!Much fun and laughter are to be had over the weekend, and of course, the Equestria Inspired sponsored MLP panel will be great fun for all! There’ll be polls to see what everypony thinks about all things pony, slideshows, the making of the Con Brony, discussion, socialization, the traditional Stompin’ Sing-along, and a wonderful raffle to wrap things up!Hope to see you there!

Happy “Make-your-eggs-look-like-Rainbow-Dash Day”! May everypony enjoy the spring that will (eventually, for some) get here, and all of the beautiful plants and animals that are jumping back to life! May your days be full of wonderful sunshine, warm, pleasant weather, and may your nights be warm, enjoyable and shared with wonderful friends!
It seems as though Winter still needs to be wrapped up, here in the Forest Kingdom of Inspireland… I go off adventuring for a COUPLE weeks, and things fall to pieces! Methinks I’ll have to see if I can fit Rainbow Dash on my budget for next year….
Live Broadcast!

Once again, we’ve got another live show coming up! Tonight, it’ll be airing at 6 pm Central time, just like it’s always been! That’s right, same pony time, same pony place!
Tonight, we’ll be talking about…. (Pause, for dramatic effect…..!) THE FUTURE!!!! Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnn!
For the discussion of the future, we’ll be going over some of the conventions that we plan on hitting up this year (And of course, running panels during!), some of the things that we here at Equestria Inspired would like to see, whether it be from Hasbro, or from fans just like you and I, or maybe even from the rest of the world outside of Equestria!
Also, for tonight’s show, we’ll be streaming even more awesome pony music, for your listening pleasure! There is simply SO much great music out there, that we cannot keep up with how fast it’s coming out versus our monthly broadcasts! Our solution….? More songs per broadcast!
Lastly, during the show, we’ll be discussing cross-overs! Whether they be MLP crossovers into the real world, like Conversion Bureau themed writing, or the (Violently-named, though rather harmless) Rainbow Dash versus Starscream ‘Deathbattle’, we’ll be talking about various cross-overs the ponies of Equestria have been submitted to! Not only will we go over ones we do and don’t like, but also ones that we hope to see in the FUTURE! (Gasp! A backtrack to the theme of the broadcast!)
